Logo & Brand Identity
City Lock and Key envisioned a logo that featured a key, with its blade cut into a cityscape. Once we completed the initial design, we felt it needed an additional element to truly capture the concept of “city, lock, and key.” To enhance this idea, we incorporated an illustration of a lock.
The final logo design is made up of bold, simplistic graphics and a high-contrast color scheme that makes it both striking and memorable. It effectively communicates the core services of City Lock and Key and beautifully embodies the essence of their business.
Custom Wix Studio
Responsive Website Design & Development
WNY Graphics custom designed City Lock and Key's website from the ground up, tailoring it to their specific needs using the user-friendly Wix Studio platform. This allows City Lock and Key to easily manage their site on their own.
To captivate visitors, the site features stunning images with subtle animations. We maintained the branded color scheme from their logo, introducing a contrasting orange accent exclusively for calls to action. This approach makes it simple for users to locate and contact City Lock and Key quickly.
The website is easy to navigate, mobile-friendly, and optimized for search engines, ensuring a seamless experience for all users.

For their images, we follow a naming convention that utilizes relevant keywords and includes “alternative text” tags that accurately describe the content.

The Brief
City Lock and Key, a new locksmith company in Niagara Falls, NY, needed to stand out from their competition. To do this, they required a strong brand identity and a website that was professional-looking and search engine optimized. So, they turned to WNY Graphics for the design and development of both. The logo had to be unique and eye-catching, clearly reflecting City Lock and Key's services. Their website needed to be more modern and visually striking than that of their competitors, while also being compelling, user-friendly, fully responsive, and featuring a blog. Additionally, they wanted the ability to easily manage the site themselves.
The Solution
We designed a distinctive, modern logo that clearly conveys what City Lock and Key provides to their customers. With bold graphics and high-contrast colors, the logo is eye-catching and memorable.
For their online presence, we maintained the same striking color scheme and font choices to design a compelling 8-page responsive website using Wix Studio, complete with a blog section. The website is visually appealing, user-friendly, mobile-responsive, and optimized for search engines. We completed the project well within City Lock and Key's timeline.
