Unique & Memorable
Logo & Brand Identity
Pretty Strong Cosmetics & Skincare wanted their logo to be a wordmark that encapsulated beauty while also conveying strength, resilience, and authenticity. To achieve this vision, Alexis, the co-founder and daughter, imagined a scripted font for “Pretty” paired with a bold sans-serif font for “Strong.”
We explored numerous stylized variations of Alexis’ concept until both founders were drawn to the final approved design. Once finalized, we developed a one-color logo for product branding and a two-color logo for their online presence and marketing efforts.

Custom Shopify
Responsive Website Design & Development
We designed, developed, and set up a compelling and engaging custom Shopify online store featuring a homepage, an "about us" section, collection pages, and product pages. The design includes tailor-made collection banners created in Photoshop, showcasing montages of models with products. Extensive photo editing was necessary, including adding branding to unbranded product shots and crafting appealing collages for featured collections. The website maintains the two-branded color scheme from Pretty Strong Cosmetics & Skincare’s logo, incorporating an elegant silver-grey to match packaging. The final design is visually striking, user-friendly, and fully responsive for all devices.
Custom Collection Banners
These collection banners were tailor-made and crafted in Photoshop to produce attractive montages of products intertwining with models.

Search Engine Optimized
SEO
During store setup, we utilized Shopify’s built-in search engine optimization tools to optimize key elements like page titles and open graph images for better social media sharing.
We implemented clear URL structures and optimized image compression for faster load times, based on Shopify's guidelines. Additionally, our image naming convention includes relevant keywords and alternative text that accurately describes the content.

Project Overview
The Brief
Pretty Strong Cosmetics & Skincare approached us to create a logo design that would define their brand identity for their private label beauty products and enhance their online presence and marketing efforts. They sought a distinctive wordmark that embodied both beauty and strength.
In addition, they required a website that would serve not only as an online store for their new product line but also as a platform to share their own stories of resilience and strength, along with inspiring narratives of other “Pretty Strong” women. With the holiday season approaching, it was crucial to launch their online store in time for promoting and selling their holiday gift sets.
The Solution
WNY Graphics brought our client's vision to life with a timeless logo design that truly captures the essence of Pretty Strong Cosmetics & Skincare. We finalized the logo artwork by early summer 2023, ensuring ample time for product branding.
We also created a dynamic Shopify store with a user-friendly content management system (CMS), enabling our client to easily maintain and update their website. We set up all collection and product pages and laid the groundwork for their “About Us” section, which highlights ongoing stories of “Pretty Strong” women. We completed the project well in advance of the holiday season.
