WNY Graphics redesigned Dark Forest Chocolate Makers’ WIX website to create a modern and responsive online presence that tells the story of their unique journey as a plant-based, bean-to-bar chocolate maker. The website features clean, easy-to-read sans-serif typography, and we maintained their existing color scheme to ensure brand consistency. To add visual appeal, we introduced a green accent color, strategically used for calls to action and key elements across the site. The redesigned site includes 6 informative pages along with an 8-page “Shop All” section, designed to be both scalable and easy to navigate. The layout is fully responsive, providing a seamless experience for users across both desktop and mobile devices. Dark Forest Chocolate Makers came to us with the goal of enhancing the visual appeal and usability of their existing website. They wanted their online store to be easy to navigate and more engaging, with captivating imagery that conveyed their story as the first plant-based, bean-to-bar chocolate shop in the Western New York area. Specifically, they were looking for a new homepage that was inviting, along with a comprehensive “Shop All” section featuring multiple product categories and room for future growth.

One key challenge was ensuring that Dark Forest Chocolate Makers wouldn’t lose any important data while updating their site. The task was to redesign the website within their existing Wix platform without compromising the back-end functionality they had already built.
